I created a set of 6 icons to represent the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I created icons inspired by Polynesian culture since all of the animals I was tasked with designing are symbols of protection in that region. As my icons are quite lively and dynamic and not as rigid or geometric as others in the class, I decided to create a poster with a little more action and movement to complement the icons. The color scheme I picked features neutral tones of colors commonly associated with the beach with a small splash of a saturated orange.
