For this project, I combined an assigned text by Andrew Blauvelt with songs by folk singer Malvina Reynolds to create a new narrative. Blauvelt explores how design navigates objectivity and mass appeal, often leading to conformity. Reynolds’ songs, like “Little Boxes,” critique that very conformity. My booklet tells this story through a visual metaphor: a house that gradually transforms into a uniform box of text, illustrating the tension between individuality and homogenization.

Final Booklet designed in InDesign and Illustrator and turned in to Professor Erica Holeman for grading.
