For this project, I had to create magazine spread designs for photography by Tamaki Yoshida. Yoshida's photography uses unconventional development techniques to show the strength of animals in her hometown, serving despite the urbanization rapidly affect Japan. After analyzing their artwork, I decided on a system that focused on the quiet yet distorted visuals of the photos. I did this by including halftone effects and lots of negative space. Overall, I think I created a professional and compelling layout for my photographer.

Final spreads created in InDesign and submitted to professor Erica Holeman for grading.
